Comments: Given the date, AHM is the band-only version. I'm unsure about Libest Spacement Monitor, given the date. As far as I know, the Nov 20, 1971 show has the long version of Embryo, without anything in front of it. Maybe Highland is referring to the improv jam Floyd does during Embryo. However, why would they put it in front of Embryo. My only reference for the Nov 20, 1971 show is Obscurity, which starts off with Embryo. Possibly Highland found a source that has LSM (aka Corrosion) being played before Embryo. I'm curious to find out what Tracks 9/10 are. The site I saw this title at gave it a sound quality of B, which is pretty low for this site. So, if you are concerned with sound quality, you may want to pass on this one, though I cannot say what it actually sounds like.

I just saw another listing on this title that said that tracks 9/10 are really from February 26, 1971 (Stadthalle - Offenbach, Germany).

I did some research on the last two tracks and this is what I found out.

First I would like to say that this is a very good cd. I do recommend it. There are good versions of all the songs and the sound quality is good for that period, not much audience noise or hiss. About AHM, Roger announces that it will be played "without the brass section, which appears on the album". On disc two, track 1, Green is the Colour is cut off very abruptly. Then track 2 is not CWtAE, but another version of Green is the Colour, which fades into track 3, Careful with that Axe instead of Set the Controls(which is not even on the disc). What a mess. Then about the last two tracks. Roger starts by saying "My lords, ladies, gentlemen, this is..." I cannot make out what he says then, but it could be Libest Spacement. It is not very clear at all. The song is very interesting and leads directly into The Embryo which is an excellent version, with some great Echoes-like sounds. The bass is very strong in these last two songs though. These two are definitly not the same version as Obscurity. At the beginning on that cd, Roger just says, "This is the Embryo" and the song starts and is definitly Embryo, not what is on this disc. According to the In The Flesh book, the set listing for Nov 20 1971 in Cincinnati starts out with "Improvisations-The Embryo" and that is the only listing for the improvisations, so this leads me to belive this is the correct date for the last two songs. I'm not sure about the Obscuity set. All in all this is a good disc, and I would recommend it just because of the rarity of last two songs. -ANON
