Comments: An pretty good recording, but distortion and frequency response (too bassy) keep it from being better. There's also some tape hiss during the quiet parts. The audience recording is from fairly close it sounds like and there is some crowd noise between songs, but not much during songs. At the start of "Echoes" somebody (the recordist?) taps the mics to see if they are working correctly. A pretty good artifact from the '73 US tour (previously undocumented in roio form as far as I know). Where's the rest of it? -JEFF


I think the correct date is Sept 22, 1972, Holywood Bowl, Los Angeles, because the recording is exactly the same as the Cracked and the Staying Home To Watch The Rain roios. This is why there is the jam version of On The Run on it. - PATRICK


Rip Off Alert: Exploding In Your Mind does not feature a LIVE Saratoga New York performance June 12 1973 (there was no such gig). This is a cut up and rearranged package of STAYING HOME TO WATCH THE RAIN (Hollywood Bowl, September 22, 1972).
