The sound board used here is the same one that has seen the light of day before on desk tape 2 as well as other CDs. Like them its poorly mixed with the guitar way to high in the mix and the vocals to low and no bass making it a pain to listen to. The audience source that most of the rest of the gig is from is better however it is still a little distant and the guitar sound seems different from other shows of this tour. The performance is nothing special as obviously the band is still working out the improvised sections this early in the tour the only thing that stands out is the pigs on the wing guitar solo that is the best ever version. All in all I'd say its not worth picking this up if your looking for an Animals show apart form the Oakland, Montreal or New York shows then go for the pigs on the wing version of Fort Worth 77 its miles better than this. -GREEN MAN
